Anyways...... fall is on its way and that brings a bounty of harvests and a wonderful array of colours that inspire our quilting in the fall - speaking of colours, that is what our September meeting will be about.
September's meeting will focus on Choosing Colours - this is a daunting task for some and to others it comes quite naturally. Bev, Jodie, Toni and Ruth will share their ideas on how they choose colours and if you have some colour choosing ideas of your own, please bring them along. Remember to also bring those summer quilting projects you've been working on for show and tell and bring your prayer requests and praise reports as well.
I'm not a gardener by any means, but I thought I would show you, what I think is a God inspired gardening display.
I planted this ivy thirteen years ago and it grows up the posts of our carport and across the roof. It creeps along with its sticky little feet and attaches itself to anything in its path. As you scroll down the pictures you will see it has covered our thermometer and a decorative house, but it has grown around my plaque that has words of wisdom from God. Coincidence? I think not. A daily reminder from my father God? Yes!
