Its no April Fool's joke - its Threads of Love meeting day once again. The days are getting longer and hopefully your sewing doesn't get shorter. Bring in the projects you've been working on during the winter and show them off at show and tell - beginner or long time quilter, we love to see them all and we learn from them all.
This month's block of the month is Royal Cross (Cross & Crown) to represent the name of Jesus "Kyrios - Jesus is Lord", Bev will walk us through the block and Ruth will share the devotion. We will also continue watching part 3 of the Leah Day Free Motion Quilting DVD, so remember to bring your note book to jot down tips. Be sure to look on the "links" on the right hand side of this blog page for a link to Leah Day's website/blog.
There will be kits available for piecing together tops and kits for quilts that need quilting and binding - please take one home to try out some new skills or to practice ones you already know. Think of these kits as exercise for your quilting and piecing techniques :).
